Canada Postal Workers Strike
Update
Canada Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced strike action beginning Friday May 23. At the moment, the action is only a refusal to work overtime, however they have stated that they "may escalate", which will likely result in a complete Canada Post shutdown like last November.
We leave it up to you whether you want immediate shipping (accepting the risk of a shutdown while in transit), or if you want us to hold your order until there is a resolution. For shipments leaving Canada, it normally takes about 3 days to be safely out of the country and no longer affected by a Canadian labour dispute.
Please let us know your choice in the "Comments" section of the order form.
If you choose to have us hold your order, we will reserve your selections for you, but be sure to complete your orders -- don't just leave them in a shopping cart. It will end up being deleted when the system does regular cleanup. See the News Report below for updates.
